These 5 Isometric Holds Spike Testosterone Naturally
Five isometric holds — the horse stance, wall sit, plank, dead hang and push-up hold — presented as a no-equipment routine. The exercises themselves are sound and the form coaching is good. The hormonal framing around them is not well supported, and we would rather say so than repeat it.

About the testosterone claim
The video attributes testosterone release, growth hormone output and increased androgen receptor sensitivity to these holds. That framing goes well beyond what the evidence supports. Resistance exercise does produce short-lived post-exercise rises in testosterone and growth hormone, but the research that has looked specifically at whether those acute spikes drive muscle growth or strength gains has largely found that they do not — the transient hormonal response and the training adaptation appear to be separate things. There is no good evidence that holding a wall sit meaningfully changes your resting testosterone. Train these because they build strength, stability and endurance with no equipment, which they genuinely do.
